The defining element of the Francis backyard is the custom stone waterfall wall — a full-width natural stone structure with multiple sheer descent waterfalls that cascade into the pool on three sides. It's the kind of feature that makes every other backyard feel ordinary by comparison.
Beyond the waterfall wall: a freeform gunite pool, spa, a travertine deck that wraps the full perimeter, and a built-in round stone fire pit for the evenings. Everything was designed as one cohesive outdoor living environment, built by our own crews from excavation to final finish.

How We Built the Francis Pool
Consultation & 3D Design
Before any excavation, we sat down with the Francis family to fully understand how they intended to use the space. The 3D design process let them see every feature, every elevation change, and every water flow path in context — so the finished pool matched the vision, not just the blueprint.
Excavation & Gunite Shell
Our crews handled all excavation and gunite work in-house. The pool shell, spa shell, and water feature bases were all shot and shaped by our team — then plumbed and wired before a single tile was set. This integrated approach means no rework, no coordination gaps.
Tile, Coping & Hardscape
The final phase brought the design language full circle — tile, coping, decking, and landscaping borders chosen to complement the home and carry the resort aesthetic from the pool edge all the way to the back door. Every surface chosen for beauty and for durability in the Middle Tennessee climate.
